Common Troubleshooting Questions

Why is my Roku TV stuck on the "Software Update" screen?

This usually happens when the connection is interrupted. Perform a "Network Connection Reset" in the settings or restart your router. If it persists, manual firmware installation via USB may be required.

The activation code is not showing up on my TV.

Ensure your Roku is connected to the internet. Try selecting "Help" or "Get a new code" on your TV. If you see a blank screen, check your HDMI connection or power cycle the device.

"Invalid Link Code" error when submitting.

Link codes expire after 15 minutes. If you receive this error, please refresh the screen on your TV to generate a new, valid code.
